Christmas 2025 Recap

The Christmas season has been a truly special one for us and a powerful reminder of why our work matters so much. It has been filled with generosity, meaningful connections, and moments of genuine joy that we will carry with us long after the festive season comes to an end.

A Special Thank You

We would like to begin by offering our sincere thanks to the following for their kind donations to our Christmas Toy Appeal:

  • Dunelm Kidderminster Community Support
  • Focus Financials Bookkeeping and Accountancy
  • The Station Inn for their incredibly.

Your support has played a vital role in helping us bring happiness and festive cheer to so many children and families within our community, and we are truly grateful.

Santa Dash Donations

Thanks to these generous donations, we were able to deliver gifts throughout the week to Special Steps, Russell House, the children who attended our Christmas Celebration SEN support group on Wednesday, and the families we visited during our Santa Dash. Each delivery brought with it smiles, excitement, and moments of magic that perfectly captured the spirit of Christmas.

Wednesday SEN Support Group

Wednesday’s SEN support group Christmas session was a standout moment of the week. We were delighted to welcome Elsa from Get Glitz UK, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The children were completely captivated as she sang, danced, played games, and even brought along her snow machine, which proved to be a huge hit. The room was filled with laughter, excitement, and pure joy, creating a magical atmosphere that the children, and their families, thoroughly enjoyed.

Santa Dash

Saturday then saw our Santa Dash take place, and it truly was a day to remember. From the first visit to the last, Santa and Mrs Claus were met with warmth, excitement, and plenty of festive cheer. Although we weren’t able to capture photographs at every household we visited, the moments we did manage to record offer a lovely glimpse into the happiness shared throughout the day. The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive and made the entire experience incredibly rewarding for our team.

Hearing directly from parents and carers following our visits has meant so much to us and reinforced just how important these moments are.

Kelly shared:

“Thank you so much for everything you do. Joshy loved meeting Mrs Claus.”

Beth told us:

“Thank you sooo much all. You made our Christmas so special for all our family! Xx”

Rachel also kindly messaged to say:

“Thank you for visiting my niece Olivia, she loved it x.”

These words mean more than we can put into writing and remind us exactly why we do what we do.

But what is all about? Why is it important to look back and recap?

One of the most meaningful aspects of the week has been meeting new families and building new connections. Being welcomed into homes, hearing personal stories, and sharing small but meaningful moments of Christmas magic highlighted just how powerful kindness, compassion, and community support can be.

This week has been about far more than toys, costumes, or festive events. It has been about creating moments of happiness, building trust within the community, and ensuring that children and families feel valued, included, and supported. It has shown us once again what can be achieved when local businesses, volunteers, and community organisations come together with a shared purpose.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated gifts, supported our appeal, volunteered their time, or helped spread the word. None of this would have been possible without your generosity and belief in what we do.

It has been an unforgettable week, filled with memories we will cherish, what a community we are proud to be part of, and truly, what a season to remember.
