Funding Specialist Pushchairs for SEN Families
Thanks to a generous £3,000 grant from Smile of Hope, we have been able to fund six specialist Excel Elise pushchairs for families with children who have additional needs and who contacted us for pushchair funding. This support has helped families keep their children safe while making everyday travel easier and more manageable.

The Adventures of Bubbles and Toby - A Perfectly Different Christmas has been created by our Founder, Michelle De-Torre, with a clear purpose, to tell a story that reflects real families, real experiences and the beauty of being different. This is more than a festive tale, it is a book written from lived experience, with inclusion and understanding at its heart. The book also includes various colouring activities and resources for children to enjoy throughout.

SEND Community Share & Care Project
We are incredibly proud to share a detailed update on our SEND Community Share & Care Project, a project that has grown into something truly special for children with SEND and their families. Thanks to the generous funding of £17,415 from The National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to create a warm, inclusive and supportive environment where families feel welcomed, listened to and valued.

Funding An Electric Hob Thanks to Your Support and Curry’s PC World
We wanted to share a lovely update from a local family we recently supported through funding for an electric hob in partnership with Currys PC World. This electric hob was desperatly needed as the autistic child developed a strong fascination with the orginal gas hob which was dangerous. This small change ihas made a real difference to their child’s safety and wellbeing.

Walking 16K For Sen Families
Saturday, 31st May was a day to remember. Our brilliant team set off at 10 am, walking 16 kilometres to raise much-needed funds for children with special educational needs and their families across the UK, and we’re so proud to share that we raised an incredible £724.87!

Forever 7 – A Tribute to Emilee
It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that beautiful Emilee passed away peacefully at home in her mummy’s arms on 26th May 2025, surrounded by nothing but love. Emilee was just 7 years old, but she leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will never fade. She will forever be in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone who was lucky enough to know her, including all of us here at The Nigel Prosser Foundation.
